How horrible would it be?

So I am quitting my life-in nanny position and I am trying to consider my options on how to go about it. I have no written contract (on of my mistakes that I have learned from) and verbally agreed to working for a year.
It has been 3 months and I absolutely cannot do it. I feel as though I am compromising the child care provider I want to be everyday for these parents and I don't like it. On top of that, getting paid from them has been such a struggle. Last month I technically worked for free because I just now (August 1) got paid for the entire month of June.

Leaving job, considering calling CPS

So I have been a live in Nanny for a family of 3 (B/G 1yr old twins and a 3yr old G). Things from the beginning were bad but I picked up and drove from Indiana all the way to Seattle to do this job so if I quit then I would be homeless, moneyless, and stuck in Seattle because my car will not make it back to Indiana.
Anyway. I have already decided I am leaving. It's all a matter of waiting for the pay to be able to either A. Fix my car or B. Afford a rental to get back to Indiana.

I was offered a nannying job, Should I take it?

So I was offered a Live in Nannying position in New York City and I am trying to decide if I should take it or not. The job is for 8M and 11M and is mostly before/after school care. They are offering me a private room and private bathroom and are asking for a 1 year contract. The basic responsibilities are getting them ready in the morning, walking one of them to school and then picking them up after school, helping with homework, taking them to practices and activities and then helping MB make dinner and that would end my responsibilities for the day.

Live in nanny, help!

When I took this job I agreed to work for room and board. The hours were agreed 7am-6pm, and anything nights or weekends would be paid. Well, wouldn't you know that suddenly there's no food, no money, and no one coming home on time. I'm always stuck for hours with no compensation. I have no where else to go right now, since I am not being paid I can't afford to leave. I am almost suicidal to be honest, the kids are so bad they fight scream and never sleep at night or nap. The boss is down right rude to my daughter, who is the only well behaved child in the house btw.

do not do live in situation

Hi, I am having the hardest time with my live in situation. When I first started things were way different. The family and I had boundaries worked out and job description set, but now almost 2 years later things are different. Mom works from home now which makes it extremely hard to watch the kids because when the kids and I are doing our thing she will walk into the situation and under mind anything that I have going on. The hardest part during the day is meal time.

Am I doing too much for too little.

Hi y'all. Are there any live-in nannies from the Los Angeles area I could seek advice from when it comes to pay? I have been with my current family since January and as the months go by my pay stays the same but my work load is starting to become a lot more than what was agreed upon. Sometimes I feel as if I am being highly taken advantage of but there are times where I feel as a person living in the house I am obligated to do some of the house hold duties that are requested. I also have curfews on my off days, is that a common thing?
